CountUpTimer is a free Max for Live device that starts counting the moment you launch a clip — a live 00:00:00.000 readout of exactly how long you've been playing, recording, or streaming.
CountUpTimer only responds to clips launched in Session View. It won't do anything in Arrangement View.

Launch a different clip and the count restarts from zero — no buttons to press between takes.
Drag CountUpTimer.amxd onto any regular audio track —
the one holding the clips you want to time.
Launch a clip in Session View and the timer starts from 00:00:00.000. Launch a different clip and it restarts from zero.
When you stop a clip, the readout freezes at the elapsed time and the digits turn gray. It holds that value until the next clip launch starts a fresh count.
The timer also lives in an always-on-top floating window that opens automatically with your set. Hit Close to dismiss it, Open to bring it back, and drag it anywhere on screen.
